over all experience was great, would have been better if the hotel was up to our expectation.

the location is very central, the breakfast is great, the staff are helpful and attentive. price is cheap.

the rooms are old and not clean, the corridor of the hotel is dark and a bit scary scratches on the walls ,the air condition is not working well and it was 35 degree in February .

Very Good

Close to Train Station and Metro. Hotel staff were very helpful. They had a travel company in the hotel which was very helpful and organised airport transfers and a day trip. A good start to our first trip to Bangkok. I didn't have the breakfast but one of our group did and said it was good value for money. 7/11 on every street corner who sorted out sim cards.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Will be my choice of stay on my next visit to Bangkok.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely facilities and very good value. Breakfasts were excellent.

Good location and nearr to MRT. Hospitality and helpful staff.

The bathroom floor is slippery and water pressure from tap and shower facilities inconsistent.

Very Good

It was our second stay at this hotel,great location,close to China town. The shower is spacious and powerful. Excellent cleanliness. The bed is a little soft and marshmallowy. Nice decor. Lovely pool.

We were given a room with an adjoining door,this meant there we could hear quite a lot of noise from next door. The hallways and elevator are very hot. The wifi wasn’t strong and sporadically cut off.

Perfect for exploring the city!

The location is perfect, right across the metro station and near Chinatown. The pool and view from the cafe are amazing.

Soundproofing could be better. You can hear people snoring in the next room, although the outside noise wasn't the problem.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

The hotel has just been renovated and the designer did an excellent job. It has nice character yet is relaxing and comfortable. Large TV and strong WiFi. Another thing I like is it got a large Starbucks downstairs so we had a few business talks there. Plenty of parking spaces onsite. So close to Silom and Sathorn as well as Siam but you got an authentic feel of how Bangkok is.

Strategic location with great hospitality

The location is very convenient. It got 7-11 and Starbucks downstairs, as well as tons of street food. Meanwhile it is a few minutes walk to Bangkok central station as well as main subway MRT blue line. Service is terrific. I think that’s UHG’s strength. All staff is nice and genuinely helpful. You feel they really want to make your stay a memorable one and will do everything to serve you.

Great location and easy to get around, chinatown a couple of streets away

A great location after arriving on the overnight sleeper, this hotel was right across the road from the train station and the MRT which takes you to the airport is right across the road on the opposite side of road. I had emailed hotel to advise that we were arriving at approx. 8:00 am, if early check in would be available? They had our room ready for 10:00 am, which was a wee bonus. We had a great view looking over Bangkok and train station from our room. The golden buddha was right around the corner, not to be missed

Very clean, smell good, nice restaurants, right opposite central station, walking distance to Yaowarat the street food heaven

A little tricky with the lift (cannot go directly to your floor, have to reach floor 12, and then move to another lift) Just-enough facility (no slippers, brush, toothpaste)

Great location in Central Bangkok.

Great location in Central Bangkok. It’s a 5 minute walk to the MRT (subway), the main train station, the Golden Buddha, Chinatown, great street food, and convenient stores. We booked half-board which included buffets for breakfast and lunch. The buffets were great with plenty of variety, and, bought separately, would’ve cost nearly as much as I paid for the entire booking. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I always do a ton of research in planning my trips, and I really got it right this time. We’ll be back.

Extremely close to the metro stop.

Extremely close to the metro stop. Room was nice, tidy and clean. The breakfast in the morning was great. Good views in the breakfast room as well as the bar area.

Asked about the airport shuttle service and they just told me to take the metro.

Great location but not for long stay

Great location near Chinatown.

The hotel front has a ram but too steep to use it to push up or down luggage. I would recommend to get picked up or drop off from the hotel packing lot. The cafe staff were too busy chatting and didn't sound too patient when we interrupted to ask for directions to claim the welcone drinks.
